Brand Strategist and Marketing Educator

“Humans tend to find comfort and place trust in what is both familiar and attractive, something that great designers and marketers have long recognized. The key for designers is to create visual representations that resonate with target audiences in a way that audience members feel meaningfully connected to the design. When customers feel connected to the visual imagery of a brand, their own feelings of familiarity and comfort will drive them – often unconsciously – to place greater trust in the brand as well as become more loyal to the organization that manages it. In the end, designers who have the skills to develop brand visuals that resonate with us on a level of familiarity and comfort will often influence us more than the quality of the products that the brand represents.”
